Take Action – help promote Microgen
Scottish Executive Consultation on Energy Efficiency and Microgeneration Strategy
Responses to the Executive’s Draft Energy Efficiency and Microgeneration Strategy need to be submitted by 11th June 2007
This document sets out for the first time the Executive's aims for improving energy efficiency and encouraging a greater uptake of microgeneration. Together energy efficiency and microgeneration can help achieve a low carbon future for our homes and workplaces, therefore it is hoped that this Strategy reflects a more joined-up approach.

3. Friends of the Earth Scotland Press Release about the Energy Efficiency and Microgeneration Strategy Document, 12th March 2007.
FoES express disappointment that following a wait of nearly two years, for this Strategy, the Executive has produced a timid consultation and only a little more cash for an existing programme. There are no new targets, no more resources for tackling fuel poverty and nothing new to say on transport.
4. Friends of the Earth Scotland’s Introduction to Micropower.
5. Scottish Renewables produced a renewable energy manifesto for the Scottish
Parliamentary elections which has a section on microgeneration.
